Influenced by the Impressionists and Post-Impressionists, Barb is a contemporary realist and colorist. She displays her work in local art exhibits and shows, and she is a member of Lakewood Arts Council's art co-op located in LAC's Community Art Center and Gallery, 85 S. Union Blvd., Lakewood, CO. Barb concentrates on oil painting but also works in pencil, acrylic, and watercolor.

Barb is a member of the Mountainside Art Guild and the Lakewood Arts Council (LAC). She has served on the Boards for both of these organizations.

In addition to supporting the local arts community, Barb consults with artists on website design and gives workshops geared toward the arts community on how to incorporate technology into their marketing.
